Module download tutorial

For beginners, this tutorial will guide to from download until launch the module on your desktop using localhost.
There is no cost involved for this test loading. The purpose is for you to test your desktop setup that is good for the modules before you decide to get one.
From this tutorial, you will learn how to set up the WAMP localhost server to run the module. You will also learn how to use the source code editor Notepad++ to open the web file.

Step 1: Download and install localhost WAMP server

Go to WAMP server website to download the right version for your desktop.
Follow the step to install and run the server.
This vedio give you the overview of the WAAMP server. Go through before install.



Step 2: Download the test module to local C drive

This is a module zip file for free download. go ahead and download to your desktop. Safe keep the zip file a local for future reference. Open the zip file and copy the files to the c drive. The WAMP server will create the web site in your c drive as C:\wamp64\www
This will be the location for the modules.

Remember to read the readme file before install. Feedback to me if you encounter any issue.

Step 3: Open and check

To open the source code files, you need a source code editor. Here I recommend Notepad++. Download and install.
From the Notepad++ open the module files to understand the source code. Eventually, you should change and modify the source code to your needs.




Step 4: Run the module from the web browser

To run the module, open a web browser like Google. From the url bar on top, key in "localhost/test_download.php"
You should see a welcome webpage.
