Backflow Indicator

This is an indicator for the kitchen sink users to detect clogging. The water flow will start to slow down when the pipe is building up the clog. Up to certain blockage, the water starts to back flow. This indicator is also a sink strainer that can filter residues preventing them to drain down the pipe. It detects the back flow and indicates by jumping or small movements. By observing the movements of the indicator, user can identify the blockage of the pipe. The chart below shows how it works. This is a good tool for the owners and plumbers to verify the condition of the pipe. Owner can use this indicator to clear the pipe before it has a big blockage and need to call a plumber. Instruction: Place on the sink outlet and let the water flow. Observe the indicator movement and reference to the chart. Remove the clip for better detection.
