Chokeless (Anti-clogging) basin strainer - hair trap

The main issue in the basin is hairs. Normally, basins come with stopper but not hair trap. Users normally do not notice the hairs are flowing down the pipe until serous blockage. Hairs are found at the sink waste trap or the floor drainage pipe. With this basin strainer, hairs will be trapped on top of the basin and users are visually noticeable so that they can remove them. Of cause, the existing stoppers have to be removed and replaced with this chokeless basin strainer. Also, this strainer will capture any small items like earrings or rings when accidentally drop into the basin. Unlike existing basin design, the small items will drop into the pipe and retrieval will be a big hassle.

To remove the stopper, both the cover and the shaft have to be removed. For the shaft, use a pair of pilers to turn.
